For the believers in fate and destiny.

Last night I was thinking about the choices we make in life and how it shapes out our lives to exactly the way it is today. "What if" always comes to mind. What if I did this instead of that? Then I thought a little bit deeper. Fate. Do we really make choices? Or are we following an invisible line that is forcing us where to go until death, or perhaps beyond death. Then theres destiny, can you change your destiny by choice, re-writing your fate? Or are we all still walking that invisible line? Then again, perhaps we can change what we do but fate will fret until it gets it way so that it can please destiny. In the end the question would be something like: "Do we really need to make choices in life, or will we just delay the time it takes to get to wherever it is were were destined to be?"

If every living thing was to follow a long set path, then all time would be predecided and therfore we would not be making any choices in life. And if we were following a long set path, then I don't see what the point of living would be because we don't actually chose anything we do. We just follow. And if you do not believe in god then who would be there to predecide time? Which means that there would be no destiny. So it all depends on whether you believe in god, and if so, believe he gives everyone a long set path.

Fair enough, but me and my maths teacher talk about stuff like this all the time, Im actually suprise anyone takes the time to listen to what I have to say, considering I am only in grade 8. But having people agree wiht me is freaky. I know I used to just lie in bed and think about things like that. Like whether their are any faults in life and that is what causes death. I was thikning about that the other day, for example, god loves everyone right...? Well, you may not but I know what it is like to lose a loved one. And for god, he would be losing a loved one every second of every day. And I know that if I was god, I would not be able to do it. I have already had my mother taken from me, and even if the world depended on it, if it was up to me I would not hve let her die. Think about it, if you had a choice of whether or not you could kill a loved one for an important reason, would, or more importantly, could you do it? Well maybe god isn't the one that decides to take our lives. Maybe a force stronger than god takes them, and we just go to god after we have passed on. Does this make sense?
